the poo-shup

We always know when Morgan is pooping because she assumes the push-up position. Sometimes she'll do 6-8 reps before she gets it out.

Oh and she loves to swing.

Emily's Revenge

I was getting ready for the day and Emily had come into the bathroom with markers and a coloring book. Well Jackson grabbed a marker and Emily wasn't going to allow it, but I told her just to let him have it for a minute and I'd watch him, since he knows how to open them now. Well she didn't want to do that and started to scream. So I told her if she didn't stop screaming I would take her markers away. So instead she started screaming at the top of her lungs and ran out of my room with the markers. So I just locked my bedroom door. She screamed and pounded on the door the entire time I blew my hair dry. Then it got quiet and I figured she finally calmed down...(which is the family rule for coming back into the room once she's been screaming.) Well I opened the door and found what she'd been up too. To spite me she had colored all over the walls and door.
I actually wasn't too mad because I knew they were washable markers...then after 40 minutes of vigorous scrubbing with a soapy rag and finally Magic eraser. I got it all off. Then I was mad at her and the Roseart company for not making truly washable markers. She's lost crayons and markers for a month.

Selling Pumpkins

Ben is finally able to sell his pumpkins from our garden to pay for the holes he made in the playhouse. (The drywall cost us $100.) I had him paint his own sign and sell them to the neighbors all by himself. He was so excited. (He earned $22.00) So between his pumpkins and saving soda cans...he's half way there.

Ben'ism

Ben was watching CNBC with Jonathan the other morning and they were showing some stock charts, one graph with positive growth. Ben said, "That is great dad." Jonathan said, "What." Ben said, "Look it is going up...you don't want it to go down." Jonathan said, "what if it does? what should you do?" He said - "pray."
