the brava (bray-va) awards is a place for all wilson clans to out do each other in [true] crazy kid stories. We will also accept funny or cute kid stories. Awards may be given, so make sure to post your stories.
Contest rules and guidelines: if you feel your child just had a bryn (insane or disgusting), ava (messy), or brava (combo of messy insanity) moment, post your story. submit as many as you see fit, old or new.
All submissions must be true stories. Pictures, of course, are always encouraged. If there are actual tears on either parents part, this will get extra street cred when judging occurs. So make sure you cover all your details.
At the end of each month, Brooke may (0r may not) send out a brava award for the best submission. Yes this is totally subjective, but I think we all know how well brooke does on being subjective--I haven't won the AR fantasy league yet. (do you like how I flip back and forth from referring to myself in the third person?)
As always, we here at the Brava Award Institute of Insanity, don't hope you have any of these moments...but when you do, we're here for you.
cheers and happy blogging.

I'm in. Sounds like fun.
I can't wait. Hoping and not hoping for a brava moment at the same time. When we do, we'll share. I love the stories and pics so far.
I've been reading your site for the past hour or so, and it has brought back so many memories for me! My kids are 12,11, and 9 now, but when they were little, they were a mess, too! I couldn't turn away for a second with out someone doing something crazy. I think the best...well, it wasn't the best at the time, it took me every thing I had that morning to not freak out. But I woke up to my 2 oldest~ probally 2 and 3 at the time, making a 'cake' in their room. They had taking all the good stuff out of the kitchen and hauled it into their room so they could cook on their stove. Well, when they heard me coming they tried to hide the evidence by throwing everything into the toybox. I have never seen such a mess. I can laugh now, but at the time I wasn't very happy to see that they had dyed my brand new carpet blue with the expensive strong food coloring! It never did come out. They had everything from flour to ketchup in there! Thanks for sharing your stories about the kids! I've had some great laughs tonight!!!
Hi Brooke!
Found your hillarious blog. Love that you capture all the messy crazy moments. Your kiddos are adorable and must keep you very busy.
