While I was showering (as always), Ben and Emily decided to make sand castles using sugar. When I came out and gasped...Ben said with pride, "Look mom, it's just like a beach."

Ode to Orbitz Gum
Gum has now been banned from our house. We left Zoe alone for 2 minutes, and this is what we found.I gave up with the ice cube, trying to freeze the gum... and I wasn't about to touch peanut butter. So a little snip, snip...
and whalla!
Luckily you can not tell we cut her hair... this time. Next time, she might not be so lucky.

Right on, Bryn, right on.
A few weeks ago we were sitting in sacrament and a youth speaker said, "I'm glad Jesus died for me." Bryn, who actually heard the speaker, got very upset and yelled (for several rows to hear), "Jesus isn't dead!"

Our toilet has eyes, jealous?
Of course this is Bryn's doing. I actually didn't mind. It gives that nasty toilet seat some character and now I can justify replacing it.
Bryn explained that it is a toilet monster, notice the many eyes.

Going Fishing
After a very, very long day of disobedient children I had banished Emily and Ben to the downstairs till dinner was ready (About a 2 hour naughty time). When I went downstairs to tell them to come eat....they saw me and went hiding. I found a trail of big swedish fish leading to the playyard, which was apparently the pond that they were fishing from. Their fishing pole was our playground swing that we had brought in for the winter season. They used this because as Ben said so simply, "it's a chain with a hook on the end".
I asked how he got the swing and Daddy's 4 lb bag of swedish fish from costco, (don't we love Jonathan) out of the locked cold storage room. Ben ran and got the key he had hidden for later pillaging and said with full pride, "let me show you mom, it was easy. I just stacked up the tubs and then I swung my blanket up and it knocked down the key. Then I opened it...... But mom, I locked it after I got the fish out."
(I took his picture while he was reenacting his story.)
We now have to get magnetic locks on all our cupboards and hide all our keys.
