A little sympathy, please

I just had to post this so you guys know what I'm up against. I was so sure we were going to have a brother for Luke and I thought it would be good so he wouldn't be the "golden child". I'm sure you understand. I have to share something that happened today. We just got a new couch downstairs and Ryan has been relentless about making sure the kids don't take food down there and eat on the couch. He, of course, does it every night but he's the dad...blah, blah, blah. I get that. As a parent, you should have some privileges. So this afternoon he takes a bowl of white cheddar popcorn down there and I catch he and LUKE eating on the couch. Ryan had already commented to me five minutes earlier how Luke was eating it like a total pig cramming it in his mouth and making a mess (this was upstairs in the kitchen). So I mention to him if he thinks it's a good idea to be eating that on the couch with Luke when he's so hard on the girls about it. His comment..."Boys will be boys!"

Are you jell'n?

Yesterday, during sacrament meeting, Bryn kicked off her shoes and proceeded to color in a coloring book. Aaron looked down at her shoes and started laughing. Then he handed me the shoes; Bryn lined the insides of her shoes with pantie liners. Who doesn't want a little cushion in their step?

What will he do next?...

So I got my Dish Network bill today and I was looking over it to make sure they had credited me properly from a previous mistake...when I notice there is a $4.99 pay per view charge for Space Chimps. Immediately I ask Ben if he ever watched Space Chimps. He replies casually, "yeah while you were exercising." I told him we had to pay $5 dollars for it. He thinks for a second and then very sincerely tells me sorry and that he really didn't know you had to pay for it. I didn't get mad...but Arrrrrrrrrrrrr. How does this boy know how to buy a pay per view movie! Seriously what's next...buying pizzas by phone!?!

the strategist

Ava has a shadow, her name is Morgan. Morgan follows her every where. This worries us a little because Ava's first name is Trouble. For example, Morgan and Ava threw a whole box worth of q-tips over the stairs into the family room today. Cursed q-tips. Anyways, Ava loves her shadow most of the time. But when she has had enough: she takes her shadow into a bedroom and then quickly leaves and closes the door. The little shadow is trapped until I free her. This happens several times a day.

Hairspray Fight.

I don't have a picture because I was so furious at Ben and Emily. The title says it all. It occurred in my bathroom. There was a sticky residue everywhere. I was in the kitchen and I could hear some swooshing sounds but thought it was the faucet. ANd when I caught them all they could say was "Sorry mom." Luckily I put off cleaning bathrooms today until Monday or blankets would have been thrown away instead of just taken away. I don't know what those two were thinking! Arrrrr.

Aaron's black rain cloud

The Faveros officially need a lock of Amber's hair to carry with us at all times. Seriously, I take Aaron out for a fab birthday/valentine's date, while our BABYSITTER breaks our cabinet door! The worst part is: she didn't say a word. We asked how everything went? Great, she replied. What is with our luck.

We can't figure out how she even did this. We're guessing she stood on the cabinet door trying to open the microwave but we have no idea.

Her everyday look

This is just getting old now.
