He warned me, but do I listen?

One of Aaron's banes in the house is the accessibility of crayons and pens. Bryn, our little artist, knows she should only color on paper, but sometimes the temptation is too great. Today, it was in the car. She found a pen and inked a mural all over the back of my seat. How did she have time to do this? Because I was stuffing a mattress into the car (on my own I might add--I'm starting believe I have man strength). No pictures, just tears. Although I was able to wipe it clean with my constant companion: magic eraser. What in the world did our mothers do without magic erasers?

I found a perfect letter "A" in pen on the backseat of our car, and when I asked Zoe who did it she said she didn't know. That's funny, because her best friend's name starts with the letter "A" and she writes it all over everything in honor of her friend. Then she tried to blame it on her poor friend who hadn't even been in the car. "I think it was Alaynna or something..." right kiddo, try again. So I know your pain... no magic eraser could get this one out.

Ryan and Aaron are one in the same in the writing utensil department. Ryan thinks all markers, crayons, etc. should be locked away with a key but it's impossible. One of his favorite quotes is "Ugh! Why are there markers out?" Luckily, most of ours our washable. I throw away the rest. Except for the Sharpies which Ryan leaves out of course!
