Yo-yo anyone?

So we have had some problems with Mia's hearing lately. I even took her to the doctor about it and then he referred her to a specialist for a hearing test...which she failed. Luckily the doctor wasn't too concerned. He said it's just fluid in her ears that isn't draining and, worst-case scenario- she will get tubes put in. Her hearing loss has made for some humorous comments from her, though. Sadly, I can't remember all of them but here's one from this week. The kids were eating lunch and I said "Whoever finishes up can have an oreo". A few minutes later I gave one to Mia. She held it up with a confused look on her face and asked "Is this a yo-yo?". I was glad to see that a yo-yo would have been good motivation. I might need to get one to keep on hand.

P.S. Not related to her hearing loss, she thinks a bra is called a broccoli. I think it's too funny to correct her when she pokes my shirt and asks me if I'm wearing my broccoli or not. We'll probably need to clear that one up eventually but for now I'm enjoying it.
